Heniarth Wood-Wind (UK) (Lemonshill Top Note x Eyarth Windflower)
We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to lease Wood-Wind for our breeding season here in Australia, he was sent to West
Kingston Stud where he was collected from and the semen was sent to us in late October. We have one mare scanned in foal to him so
far, Weston Park Marigold (Weston Olympian x Weston Park Magnolia) and plans to use the semen on several more of our mares in the
2011-2012 season.
Wood-Wind has an impressive record, his first show-ring appearance as a foal winning at the Royal of England, Wood-Wind has never
looked back! He has only once been placed second in his entire young stock showing career winning bronze and silver Welsh Pony and
Cob Society medals each season along with many Supreme Championships at the highest level and in the best company - all
produced from home.
He has attracted great interest from breeders worldwide; currently having foals bred in France, Holland as well as the UK, with further
stock from his second crop due again in those countries as well as Sweden and from some leading studs within the UK.
A big THANK YOU to Richard and Meirion for allowing us to use Wood-Wind.
